Canadian International School Singapore
Singapore is one of the great cities of the world (although there are some expatriates who would strongly disagree with me), and it’s filled with international schools. Many of the schools have curricula designed specifically for students from one country – an example would Singapore American School. CIS is another of those schools. If you are a Canadian trained teacher, this might be an excellent school for you because based on the website, it sounds great.
CIS is an independent, privately owned, co-educational day school that offers the IB PYP, MYP, and DP for students from
Early Childhood to grade 12. The Ontario Ministry of Education in Canada accredits them. Graduates of CIS receive the Ontario Secondary School Diploma or the IB diploma. CIS was founded in 1989 as a university preparatory school. The school has approximately 1500 students and 136 faculty members.
Their mission is to create a dynamic, caring, and safe learning environment. The school celebrates internationalism. It has a well-rounded curriculum with dedicated teachers and staff. Students enjoy learning by making meaningful connections between the classroom and the world at large. CIS prepares students to be successful, well-balanced and responsible global citizens.
The student body of CIS comes from nearly 50 countries. Their focus is the individual needs of students. Students at CIS pursue excellence in the mastery of creative problem solving, effective communication, international understanding, and responsible citizenship.
The school has four campuses situated around Singapore. In 2009 they will consolidate the school and move all four campuses to one new school.

After that, I joined as a teacher in economics in a higher secondary school and taught both at the elementary and secondary levels for seven and half years. Thereafter I got an opportunity to teach the students at O level in the Republic of Maldives for one and half years.
Presently I am a senior teacher in economics at Trivandrum International School, Trivandrum, Kerala, India.

I offer my self as an aspirant for the post NIS trained cricket coach in your esteemed institution. I successfully completed the diploma course in sports coaching in cricket from NSNIS Patiala (Punjab) with cricket as my specialty sport. Currently I am rendering my coaching services to the Alappuzha District Association.
During my school and college days I was avid cricketer. One of the greatest achievements during my playing days was to enable my College Cricket Team from the backward District of Alappuzha, to be crowned champions in the Kerala University Cricket tournament 2002-03, and selected as an all rounder in the Kerala University Cricket Team. I was one of the players instrumental in propelling the team in to the semifinal of All India Cricket Tournament at Hosur (Bangalore). These creditable achievements were rewarded by the Kerala University when they made the captain of the Kerala University team for my excellent performances on the field.
With the above credentials I think I am qualified and eligible to the post of NIS trained coach. Communication in English and communicating via body language is a soft skill I acquired during my training period at Patiala. The training helped me to be well versed with the rules of cricket and laws governing the game. My youth, energy and ability to work with youngsters and mould them in to potential cricketers will make me ideal for the job. My leadership abilities (as captain of Kerala University) will guarantee me to impart leadership qualities and maintain discipline and team spirit at all times.
In light of the above details I am offering myself as cricket coach to your educational school complex. As cricket coach, I wish to render my humble service to your prestigious institute of learning, and I solemnly assure that I will remain sincere, loyal and devoted to my wards and to the institution.
